Startling insights to the crocodilian's arsenal
of senses and killing power from the man who loves them
and knows them best, Rob Bredl. We travel with Rob as he
meets up with traditional owners and operators of the
Edward River Crocodile Farm that Rob helped establish in
1971 now it's managed by twelve aboriginal tribes.
Rob spent ten years with the community, so his
return to the Edward River is a kind of homecoming to
his place of learning and growth as an animal handler
and lover. Rob gives us the saltwater crocodile in
detail, its biology and physiology, the cycle from birth
to death. His insights paint the picture of a creature
that is not only built to kill but built to survive
through the ages.
